The Cavaliers (6-1, 1-0 ACC) return to action for the first time in two weeks after a semifinal appearance at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Houston. Virginia topped Notre Dame, 4-2, and California, 4-0, before falling to eventual champion Ohio State, 4-3, in the semifinals.

The Bears, whose lineup features three of the top 20 players in the nation, is coming off a 4-0 win over Ole Miss last week. The Cavaliers won last year's meeting in Waco, 6-1, but the teams haven't met in Charlottesville since 2010.

The Fighting Irish lost to the Cavaliers in the first round of ITA National Team Indoors, but rebounded to down Mississippi State and Florida in the backdraw. Last week they blanked Ball State, 4-0, after a 4-2 loss to top-ranked Ohio State. Prior to this year's match at National Team Indoors, the teams hadn't met since 2011.
Liberty (4-4) enters the week after a 5-1 victory over Morgan State last weekend. The Cavaliers have won all five previous meetings, including a 7-0 win in the last meeting of the series in 2010.
