Kelsey Wolfe sustained an injury to her right knee at the 14:32 mark of the first half. She was helped off the court by the training staff and did not return to the game. She will have an MRI on Monday to evaluate the extent of the injury.

Virginia began the game shooting 50.0 percent from the field, 9-of-18, but Maryland shot 78.6 percent to start the game, going 11-of-14 in that same span

Virginia capped a 10-2 run by scoring six points in a 26 second span when Telia McCall hit a three-pointer, followed by a Faith Randolph steal that led to a three-pointer by Ataira Franklin.

McCall, who missed the Boston College game recovering from a concussion, scored seven points with four rebounds

Virginia was 14-of-15 from the free throw line, shooting 93.3 percent
