Head coach Joanne Boyle opening comments
"We're happy to be 3-0 at this point in the season. There are always things that we can work on. We definitely need to work on things. Definitely happy to come out with a win, but we'll definitely spend a couple days in practice trying to fix some things."

Boyle on UVa's Defense:
"We started out in a zone. For the first 12 minutes they only had four points, then they went on a little bit of a run the last seven or eight minutes, but really we just took possessions off. We just need to become a team that can dictate for forty minutes, and we're not doing that. Sometimes we play to our competition, which means we take possessions off, and we need to not do that."

Boyle on Imovbioh:
"I told her at halftime no early fouls and she did a great job staying out of foul trouble which allowed us to keep her in the game. She does such a good job on the boards and gives us second and third chances all the time. She brings a consistency on both ends of the floor when it comes to rebounding."

Boyle on their trip to Puerto Rico:
"We're about to play two great teams so we'll need to be ready to play from the jump. Obviously we need to be a great defensive team- that's our bread and butter, that's who we are-but we also need to be a great rebounding team and we need to take care of the ball. So, I'd say it will take those three things to come back with some W's."

Ataira Franklin on the game:
"We came out strong, but as coach said we had a lull there in the middle. It's a little frustrating because we start off strong and you see we're a great defensive team, and then we have those lulls. But I'm glad we were able to pick it up in the second half, the energy was definitely better. We got some energy from Jaryn[Garner] coming off the bench, but we need to be more consistent.

Franklin on the defense:
"I feel like a lot of the time the team goes as I go defensively, so it's important to dictate and be aggressive from the jump. I definitely take pride in that. "

Sarah Imovbioh on her role:
"I started off with two early fouls, so I had to settle down and watch the way I play. But I think I came out stronger in the second half and I knew my teammates needed me, especially on the boards."
