CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Head coach Michelle Madison has announced the team captains for the 2013 season as well as the leadership team.

Junior back Elly Buckley along with sophomore midfielder Jess Orrett will serve as the team captains for the 2013 season. Additionally, sophomore goalkeeper Jenny Johnstone, junior back Chloe Pendlebury, and freshman goalie Rebecca Holden will serve on the leadership team.

"I have full confidence in the ability of these leaders to inspire their team to become the very best they can be," Madison said.

The field hockey team has two tournaments remaining during its spring training, the Duke Invitational March 23-24 in Durham, N.C. and the Commonwealth Cup, held on Sunday, April 7 at Turf Field in Charlottesville. More details and a full schedule for the Commonwealth Cup will be released at a later date.
