Bryan, Texas - The 16th-ranked Virginia women's golf team moved into a tied for second place following the second round of play at Texas A&M's "Mo" Morial Tournament in Bryan, Texas. The Cavaliers shot 8-over 296 Tuesday for a 36-hole total of 18-over 594. Kentucky leads the 12-team field at 10-over 586. The host Aggies are tied with the Cavaliers for second place.

Junior Briana Mao holds down UVa's top spot on the leaderboard, sitting in 10th place at 4-over 148. She had a second round score of 75. A trio of Cavaliers are tied for 15th at 5-over 149. That group includes Lauren Coughlin, Lauren Diaz-Yi and Alex Hershberger.
