Ford Earns WCGA All-American Scholars Honor

Charlottesville, Va. - Virginia freshman women’s golfer Julia Ford (Shrewsbury, Mass.) has been named to the 2017 Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars team. The criteria for selection to the team is to have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5.

In her first season at UVA, Redding played in all nine tournaments and finished fifth on the team with a 76.67 stroke average. Her best performance came at the Landfall Tradition tournament where she placed 18th.
